The Gold Sand Separator and Mobile Soil Screener is a continuous-duty trommel system engineered to classify unwashed alluvial materials, sand, and cohesive topsoil. Built around a heavy-wall rotating drum with internal spiral lifters, the unit washes, scrubs, and separates aggregate fractions in a single pass.

Working Principle

Raw feed enters the rotating cylindrical drum via a heavy-duty hopper and feeder. As the drum rotates at 12 to 20 RPM, internal steel lifters elevate the material and drop it repeatedly. High-pressure spray bars inside and outside the drum liquefy clay clumps and wash fines through the aperture mesh. Oversized sterile material travels out the discharge end, while the fine gold-bearing sand or classified soil drops through the screen decks into collection chutes or sluice boxes.
