The sand making process generally includes the main parts of crushing, sand making, screening, powder removal, humidification (drying) and so on. Each sand-making process is interlinked, each playing its own role but influencing each other, which will affect the quality of the final finished sand. Once the equipment fails, it should be resolved immediately, otherwise it will have a major impact on the entire production process. The screening equipment is the equipment that is prone to failure in the complete sand production line. So what are the common failures of the screening equipment?
Take the circular vibrating screen as an example. Most of the faults are the unbalanced force on the screen surface, excessive accumulation of material on the screen surface, heating of the vibrator, poor screening quality, insufficient speed of the screen, heating of the bearing, and no sound when the screen is running. Normal and so on. So, how should these failures occur?
1. Unbalanced force on the screen surface
The unbalanced force on the screen surface is mainly due to uneven feeding due to belt deviation and funnel blockage during feeding. There is too much material on one side of the screen and almost empty on the other side, which will cause the screen to break; The distance between the hoppers is too large. When the aggregate enters the vibrating screen from the hopper, the impact force on the feed is relatively large, which easily causes the beam at the feed to break and the screen box to crack. For uneven feeding, a distributor can be installed at the belt; the distance between the funnel and the circular vibrating screen can be adjusted.
2. Too much material accumulated on the screen surface
If there is too much material on the screen surface, because the amplitude is too small, the moving speed of the material on the screen is slow, which causes the screen to exceed the load. In severe cases, the screen will be damaged, the beam will be broken, and the spring will be damaged. We can increase the slope of the screen surface, adjust the amplitude, that is, adjust the eccentric block to solve the problem.
Third, the vibrator generates heat
The main cause of the vibrator heating is too long working hours, high friction in some places and other factors. You can lubricate the vibrator and buy good quality grease.
Fourth, the screening quality is poor
Poor screening quality is mainly due to clogging of the screen, high moisture content of the screened materials, uneven screening and feeding, excessive storage of screen materials, and too loose screens. The screen should be shut down immediately to clean the screen, control the amount of water supplied during the screening process, evenly feed the material, clean up the accumulated materials in time, and tighten the screen to control the quality of the screen.
Five, the speed of the screen is not enough
Loose transmission belt is the main factor causing the slow speed of the screen machine. The operator should tension the conveyor belt in time to adjust the speed of the screen machine.
Six, bearing heat
Bearing heating is mainly due to lack of lubricating oil, too dirty bearings, too much lubricating oil, or the quality of lubricating oil does not meet the requirements, bearing wear, etc. When this happens, check the relevant parts in time, prescribe the right medicine, and inject lubricating oil, Clean the bearing and check the sealing device and replace the seal ring, check the amount of lubricating oil and the quality of the lubricating oil, and replace the bearing to solve the problem.
Seven, the sound of the sieve machine is abnormal when it is running
When the screen machine is running, the sound is abnormal, the operator should check the wear of the bearing, the tightness of the screen, the tightness of the bolt and the damage of the spring, and replace the worn bearing, tighten the screen, tighten the bolt, and replace the damaged screen. Wait.
During the long-term operation of the sand production line, various faults may occur. Some faults may not immediately have a significant impact on the sand production process, but in the long run, it will seriously affect the service life of the equipment.
