How the Plant Works in Four Steps
1. Feeding.
- An excavator or loader dumps raw ore into the grizzly hopper; oversized boulders are rejected before they reach the drum.
2. Scrubbing and washing.
- High-pressure water jets and the rotating scrubber section break down clay and wash the ore, freeing trapped gold particles.
3. Screening and waste discharge.
- The trommel sizes the material; barren oversize rock is discharged via chute or conveyor to a stockpile or backfilled pit.
4. Gold recovery.
- Undersize slurry flows into the sluice box or concentrator, where gold is captured and barren sand exits as tailings.
