The comprehensive maintenance guide for mobile drum screens integrates daily maintenance, fault diagnosis, regular maintenance and safe operation specifications:
📍 1. Daily inspection and maintenance
① Screen status
Inspection content: Observe whether the screen is blocked, damaged or deformed before starting the machine every day, and focus on cleaning the materials stuck in the screen holes (such as clay, fiber, etc.).
Treatment measures: Use a high-pressure water gun or wire brush to clean the blockage; if the screen damage area is greater than 10%, it must be replaced immediately to avoid particle size loss.
② Fasteners and vibration system
Check whether the bolts and nuts are loose (especially the connection between the screen body and the motor). Looseness will cause "clicking" noise during operation.
Test the amplitude of the vibrator: When the amplitude deviation is greater than 15% when no-load, the counterweight block needs to be adjusted or the exciter bearing needs to be checked.
③ Lubrication management
Bearing lubrication: Use No. 2 lithium-based grease, which is replenished every 500 hours of operation, and the amount of grease is 1/3 of the bearing cavity volume (excessive grease will cause overheating).
Gearbox oil level: Check the oil quality every month. If the oil is turbid or contains metal chips, the gear oil needs to be replaced.
🛠️ 2. Regular maintenance (every 3-6 months)
①Transmission system maintenance
Transmission belt/chain: Check the tension and wear. If the droop is greater than 15mm, it needs to be adjusted; if the tooth side wear is greater than 30%, the chain must be replaced.
Reducer maintenance: Clean the breathing valve, replace the lubricating oil and remove the sludge inside the box.
②Electrical system detection
Use a megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the motor (standard > 2MΩ). If it is lower than this value, the coil needs to be dried.
Tighten the motor terminals to prevent overheating caused by poor contact.
⏳ 3. Long-term shutdown maintenance (> 30 days)
①Equipment protection
Thoroughly clean the screen and internal materials, and spray anti-rust oil on the exposed metal surface.
Disconnect the negative pole of the battery and charge it once a month to avoid power loss.
②Restart process
Run at no load for 1 hour: gradually increase the speed to the rated speed, and monitor the bearing temperature rise (should be <45℃).
Control the flow rate at 50% at the initial stage of feeding, and increase it to full load after stable operation.
⚠️ 4. Safety operation specifications
Maintenance and protection: Lock the power switch before operation, wear dust masks and noise-proof earmuffs (drum screen noise is usually >85dB).
Electrical safety: Check that the cable insulation layer is not damaged, the grounding resistance is <4Ω; the maintenance distance of high-voltage lines is >3 meters.
